The Responsibilities:
• Coordinate construction engineering activities to ensure that projects are implemented in accordance with plans, designs, and specifications
• Interpret designs for implementation in construction projects
• Arrange and oversee the letting of tenders
• Undertake quantitative and qualitative safety, environment, and quality risk assessment to ensure acceptable quality of electrical, communication & rail systems.
• Develop, implement & monitor electrical quality management inspection & test plans
Inspect, monitor and report electrical non-compliances.
• Coordinate interfaces with electrical authorities
The Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering - Power, Electrical, Construction Management
• Minimum 3+ years' experience in a similar role
• Experience on high profile projects
• Knowledge of project management structure, plans, specification, standards and implications for project accountabilities
• Understanding of the Project Design Management Plan, Quality Management Plan Safety
• Management Plan and Environmental Management Plan
• Knowlege of design, planning and legislative requirements

We are currently recruiting an Electrical Engineering Manager to work for a Tier 1 company with a national portfolio of landmark rail, rolling stock and infrastructure projects.
An electrical engineering skillset tailored to rolling stock and systems engineering practices will be required for this position.
Location- Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne
Duration- Permanent
Responsibilities
• Responsible for managing a team of qualified Electrical design/assurance engineers that provide engineering services to projects within the business.
• Manage and provide support, guidance and mentorship to the wider team
• Assignment of resources to deliver projects
• Decision making regarding recruitment, grading, salary review, competency management
• Workflow management including daily, weekly, monthly goal setting.
• Confidently interact and engage with both internal and external stakeholders
• Liaise with various internal teams including System Engineering, Safety assurance, Manufacturing, engineering support
• Review technical and evaluate technical work, ensuring designs are optimised to minimise overall cost
• Approve design plans and systems assurance plans
• Assist with tenders / bids and overall growth of the team and business
Required Experience
• Tertiary Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Registered / NER / CPEng or eligible for chartership
• Systems Engineering and Safety Assurance discipline knowledge
• An understanding of rail safety law and related legislation / requirements
• 10+ years rolling stock design/assurance experience

Airswift is seeking a Resident Engineer (Mechanical) to work in the southern state of Johor, Malaysia. This role will be representing our client who is the Project Delivery Partner and Main Consultant. The project scope will be a Water Infrastructure Construction Project.

Job Responsibilities
- Be accountable for the quality of site construction and installation work on mechanical equipment and building services.
- Lead the site supervision team on the Mechanical works on waterworks project.
- Assist CRE on all Process Mechanical site issue’s and supporting critical defects and punch lists rectification works.
- Reviewing and approving of technical submissions by Contractors.
- Verifying work done and payment on mechanical works
- Witnessing Factory Acceptance Test, Site Acceptance Tests etc.
- Involvement in contract-related matters on the project. Attendance in meetings, discussions with clients, contractors and to lead in technical and progress discussions.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering recognized by the Board of Engineers, Malaysia.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Water / Waste Water treatment Plant Project or Industrial Plant or similar infrastructure construction projects
- Conversant with local building codes and regulations
- Good supervisory skills
- Good command of English
