Senior NDT Specialist Level 2/3
Join our dynamic team as a Senior NDT Specialist Level 2/3 in the thriving Oil and Gas sector! This full-time contract role offers you the opportunity to leverage your extensive experience in NDT Engineering & Inspection while working on multi-projects in a collaborative environment located in Nanterre, France. Role Overview
  • Participate in technical meetings (KOM, PIM, etc.) and audits worldwide with Clients, Partners, and Sub-contractors.
  • Review Client and/or Partners specifications and prepare project-specific deliverables.
  • Manage the review of Vendor’s/Sub-contractor’s technical documentation during FEED and/or EPC phases.
  • Provide input/advice to complementary Welding and Quality Documentation as part of specialist NDE support.
  • Respond to Client and Vendor technical queries during the clarification process.
  • Report to the Lead Materials & Welding.
  • Facilitate interface communication with other Disciplines including technical support on Welding and Non-Destructive Examination topics.
  • Participate in technical visits at Sub-contractor’s premises for resolution of main Non-Conformance.
  • Perform Gap Analysis of relevant design and fabrication codes including NDE standards.
  • Prepare NDE specifications to be attached to Material Requisitions.
  • Identify and select suitable NDE methods and techniques for critical inspections.
  • Provide technical support for clarifications and deviations.
  • Support the QC Coordinator and Field Engineers/Construction Managers.
  • Provide on-site NDE technical assistance and senior supervision during NDE training.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Extensive knowledge of Pressure Vessels and NDT methodologies.
  • Proficient in MS Office Package, Adobe Acrobat, Autodesk, and other relevant software.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-managing, dynamic, and responsive attitude.
Education & Experience
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering and construction of pressure vessels, piping, and structural projects in the Oil & Gas sector.
  • At least 5 years of experience as NDT operators in the field.
  • NDE Certification Level 2 minimum (PT, MT, RT, UT, PAUT, TOFD) is compulsory.
  • Full knowledge of standards such as ASME, EN/ISO, DNV, API, AWS, ASTM.
  • NDE Certification Level 3 or other internationally recognized welding inspection certification is a plus.
