Location: This position is fully mobile with base location onshore office Oslo. Mobilization to construction site in Batam, Indonesia, Stavanger or Egersund for a period, prior to mobilizing to Stord, Norway integration site is a requirement of this position.
Contract duration: 12 months’ renewable

On behalf of our customers, we are currently recruiting for a Senior Project Completion Engineer to be placed in Oslo and would be on a 12 months’ contract with the possibility of extension.
General Description
The Commissioning specialist is responsible for the planning, execution and supervision of Completion and Commissioning activities for designated systems/equipment related to the delivery and integration of a platform.
This position is responsible for input to systems equipment connected to and controlled by designated systems.
Responsibilities
- Contribute in the preparation phase with review and verification of documentation and drawings that are relevant to MC and Commissioning of designated systems.
- Provide engineering input
- Estimation and planning of commissioning scope of work onshore and offshore for designated systems/equipment, including input to plan.
- Able to work independently to plan and execute MC follow-up and commissioning activities.
- Participate in MC punch outs and FATs at supplier sites.
- Deliver input and update progress into project completion system PIMS.
- Develop, review, and implementation of commissioning procedures.
- Coordinate and Interact with different departments and disciplines to ensure efficient execution of commissioning with high focus on HSSE.
- Identify and follow up risks and opportunities related to commissioning.
- Plan and call off ATS as and when required.
- Manage assistance personnel from contractors and other resources providing services
- Ensure spare parts and special tools are available prior to execution of commissioning activities.
- Plan and ensure first fills are available in timely fashion and perform first fills.
- Provide leadership to ensure that a high level of focus is maintained on health, safety, and the environment to achieve the company’s expectations.
- Plan and coordinate commissioning assistance and support as required.
- Participate in discipline MC punch rounds at sites for designated systems.
- Plan and execute commissioning activities in a timely manner based on Commissioning plan.
- Ensure a smooth transition from Project to Operation.
- Participate in pre-start-up and performance test reviews as necessary.
Skills / Qualifications
- BSc. or MSC in Engineering or a related field or equivalent education / experience.
- Experience from NORSOK projects.
- System-based commissioning knowledge and understanding
- Familiarity with Project Completions Systems and document management systems.
- Experience with PIMS is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Cyber Security requirements.
- Development and Staging IT-L4 and OT-L3 network equipment.
- Staging of FW, DNA and GitHub scripting.
- Staging of network switches for the project and onboarding in the company Management and Monitoring.
- Network support – Site Support for all project disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
