Responsibilities:
- Support the Procurement Function in negotiating contract documents of purchase orders and agreements during project execution.
- Provide advice on the main contractual risks, and identify and propose contractual mitigation actions within the framework of Saipem purchasing framework.
- Review and qualify different types of Supply Chain contracts and agreements, including but not limited to : purchase orders, services contracts, work contracts as well as associated confidentiality agreements, non-disclosure and restrictive use agreements; licensor agreements.
- Participate in meetings Vendors and Subcontractors, negotiating the contractual instruments with the counterparties in the best interests of the Company and in accordance with Company risk policies.
- Analyze and prepare , agreements, master agreements, Confidentiality agreement etc...
- Ensure the flow-down and transfer of contractual risk from the contract with the client to the purchase orders and agreements with vendors and sub-contractors, identifying provisions that shall be transferred to passive contracts in relation to obligations of the main contract or due to the specific scope of work.
- Apply Saipem guidelines and standards relevant to contract management, and remain up to date for any laws, rules related to the Company activities.
Required Skills:
- Excellent command of English language
- Previous experience in Energy, Oil & Gas, Construction or Supply Chain (3 - 10 years).
- Knowledge and experience of english law and industry standard forms of contracts (FIDIC, LOGIC, BIMCO, IOCs’ etc.)
- Strong commercial awareness and good negotiation skills.
- Previous experience in reviewing, advising and negotiating supply chain contracts and tenders
- Ability to work under time pressure to meet deadlines
