We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer with strong expertise in V&V to deliver high-quality services on rail projects throughout SEQ. You will provide authoritative guidance on best practices in V&V across all stages of the system lifecycle.
Location- Brisbane, QLD – Relocation package available from within Australia
Duration- Permanent, full-time
Salary- $160,000 + Super
Responsibilities
- Lead development and delivery of V&V plans and strategies
- Conduct requirements verification and develop test cases and procedures.
- Assist in tender production, work-winning / client engagement
- Manage traceability between requirements, test cases, and results.
- Execute validation activities, ensuring compliance with safety and technical standards.
- Prepare V&V reports and evidence packages.
- Mentor junior staff
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or similar
- 6+ years Systems Engineering experience
- Knowledge of relevant standards:
- EN 50126/8/9
- IEC 61508
- ISO 15288
- Understanding of full Systems Engineering V-Lifecycle / INCOSE handbook standards
- Familiar with DOORS / DOORS NG
- An understanding of Safety Assurance, Human Factors and RAM is desirable
- Australian working rights – Australian Citizen, PR or Visa holder
