MAIN FUNCTIONS
The societal M&E advisor evolve in a team handling Societal, National Content, Environmental, Safety topics. The societal M&E advisor operates under the supervision of the M&E Specialist, and for the purpose of the monitoring, M&E officer(s) are providing site support.
The societal M&E advisor will be:
- Support & update the development of a fit-for-purpose M&E societal framework (Risk based approach)
- Developing the Monitoring & Evaluation Plan
- Contributing to update an accessible reporting dashboard (KPI).
- Implementing data collection methods (qualitative & quantitative)
- ensuring the quality, accuracy, and reliability of collected data through rigorous validation and verification processes.
- Analyzing data using statistical and qualitative techniques to derive insights into program effectiveness, societal trends, and
- impact on target populations.
- Preparing comprehensive reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate M&E findings.
- Documenting best practices, lessons learned.
- Providing Training & Capacity Building
- Delivering awareness and training with regards to M&E culture (methodologies, data collection)
- Fostering a culture of learning and evidence-based decision-making
- Participate in Audit. Regular visit at worksites.
- Monitor compliance to Internal One Maestro Management system, IFC, Social commitments.
- Coordinating the follow-up of societal action tracker
- Manage the high-level planning of mission for the entity.
- The jobholder must be rigorous, must possess strong analytical skill, able to work effectively as a team member;
- Previous experience in M&E, Social Studies or similar areas will be preferred with site experience;
- 7 years of relevant working experience: M&E, data analyst, planning, GIS knowledge: proven track record in Project monitoring and evaluation and reporting and audit
- Knowledge of international E&S performance standards;
- Awareness, knowledge and understanding and experience in diversity of fields such as stakeholder engagement, resettlement, social investment, project induced in-migration; community health safety and security;
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills including a willingness and ability to engage and consult with rural communities in rural areas;
- Computer skills including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
