Airswift is seeking for a Sr Technician Control System to work with our client based in Qatar.

Qualification:
  • Diploma / HND
 
  • Relevant disciplines certificates
 
  • 7-year similar experience
 
  • SAP working experience in any module will be an added advantage
 
  • Good understanding of Quality Management Systems, such as ISO 9001

Purpose of Job:
  • Proficient in testing Instrument and control systems, continuity of circuits in instrument wiring, equipment and fixtures using testing devices such as HART communicator to ensure compatibility and safety of the systems. Capable of understanding hook up and loop drawings, Cause & Effect charts, P&IDs and Sequence of events (SOE). Responsible for maintenance, inspection and repair of the radio equipment, telecommunication networks and computer networks ensuring those in good working order.
 
  • Performs shop maintenance including repairs, maintenance of field telecoms to keep telecoms operating at their peak efficiency.
 
  • Assist in the evaluation, selection, and application of standard engineering methods, techniques, and procedures for Control Systems, following Company HSE policies.
  • Aid in managing and controlling the performance of Operations Systems & Controls, including DCS, ESD, SCADA, and related equipment.
 
  • Provide technical support for system integrity and availability, including troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and corrective actions. Participate in system commissioning, pre-commissioning, and project takeovers.
 
  • Review and assist in evaluating engineering documents from vendors/contractors and participate in technical meetings during project execution.
 
  • Monitor and review defect reports for Systems & Controls equipment, ensuring timely resolution and effective support for DCS, ESD, SCADA, PLC, and other control systems.
