Requirements:
- 75% on-site work / 25% from employers office or work from home
- BS or MS in Chemical Engineering
- Experience in a PSM facility is highly preferred
- Experience of 7+ years’ experience at a chemical manufacturing site as a process engineer
Deliverables:
- Analyze production schedules, process data, and existing emissions data to determine which process steps lead to fugitive air emissions
- Investigate reliability issues of current recycle process and determine methods of failure
- Investigate current recycle process and determine steps towards optimization
- Review PHA recommendations and validate recommendations are a suitable and initiate capital project scope development
- Develop process modifications and/or capital scope development to reduce fugitive emissions
- Assist site with coordinating management of change (MOC) activities to improve fugitive emissions, reliability and/or optimization improvements, or capital projects
- Coordinate or perform all associated engineering study calculations to meet objectives, e.g., SIL calculations, dispersion modeling, or pressure relief sizing calculations
- Provide red-line P&ID drawings and/or operating instructions as needed to support changes
