Responsibilities:
Project Design/Execution:
- Responsible for the design, planning, and management of well intervention and abandonment operations, with the full integration of the CWI Operations team and relevant asset teams.
- Preparation of detailed cost and time estimates, tracking of relevant metrics during job execution, after action reviews (AAR) documentation, well handover from and back to production, and developing subsequent improvement plans.
- This work includes technical deliverables outlined in the DWDP, identification and maturations of performances improvement ideas through WEIS FM, tracking of relevant metrics during job execution.
- Responsible for implementing Franchise Well Delivery.
- Integrate HSSE in the design, programming, and execution of well work on completion and well intervention operations.
- Actively promote HSSE and Sustainable Development (SD) in all activities and ensure compliance with business principles.
- Understand and embed contracting strategy into design, programming & execution of Well intervention/Abandonment scope.
- Leverage contract management team (CMT) to improve commercial agreements where possible.
- Track value leakage and vendor performance throughout execution and feedback to the CMT for BPR and contract changes.
- Actively seek opportunities to improve commercial agreements
- Familiar with Well Intervention Services for Deepwater wells – Coiled Tubing, E-line, Slickline, Pumping, Hydraulic Work over unit, Snubbing Ops
- Support and foster relationships with other asset teams including subsurface, production, facilities, and construction. Drive the performance to establish and achieve WRFM goals. Support engagements with JV co-owners where applicable and the development and analysis of competitive benchmarking to drive operational excellence.
- Lead the technical and HSSE management of relevant service provider contracts and support the contracting and procurement strategy. Collaborate with contractors regarding performance, future plans, variances, etc. as needed.

- Actively drive the identification, development, and implementation of new technologies and the opportunities to optimize field operations.
- Previous experience: +10 years’ experience developing engineering programs and managing Well Intervention projects.
- Remote working: Individual needs to be based in Houston or New Orleans, and be able to come to the office at least 2 days a week.
- Office location: Houston or New Orleans
- Position will require eventual support to operations out of regular business hours.
- Team / Department structure: Well Interventions Engineering Team GOM – 1 Supervisor – 5 direct reports (colleagues).
