Our client is on the hunt for Structural Designers, they have various roles, various levels working on a good pipeline of work. On offer will be 12 month initial contracts.
It is mandatory you have:
- Proficiency with MicroStation.
- Structural design experience gained on mining or infrastructure projects.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
You’ll get to work on a project portfolio that provides exposure to a variety of design scenarios including rock breaker upgrades and NPI Infrastructure (MEM Workshops, AN Facilities, HV/LV wash areas, Laboratories).
We’ll be asking you to provide design expertise and produce drawings whilst:
- Liaising daily with Project Managers, Designers, Engineers and clients.
- Ensuring compliance with industry and client standards.
- Managing your own time to ensure project deliverables are met.
- Identifying and reporting on any potential deviations from agreed scope of works.
Whether you prefer major projects or sustaining capital, there's plenty of opportunities. The WA team continues to deliver design expertise for an array of mining and infrastructure projects.
You will also need to have:
- Advanced Diploma, Diploma or Associate Degree.
- Structural design experience gained on mining or infrastructure projects.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
- A keen eye for detail, good time management and a knack for problem-solving.
- Current right to work in Australia.
