Airswift is seeking a Supply Advisory to work with one of our clients in the oil and gas industry in Calgary, AB, on a 12-month contract.
Our client is looking for a Contract Supply Advisory to join the Supply, Wholesale, Biofuels & Low Carbon Products team. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Supply, Wholesale, Biofuels & Low Carbon Products.
With this role we are looking for a candidate who can enable the balance and optimization of supply throughout the Canadian Refined Products network. Working with the logistics, sales, analytics, finance and exchange partners to ensure supply is available at the right locations at the right cost.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzing and optimizing supply chain processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance.
- Managing relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
- Monitoring and controlling inventory levels to minimize excess stock and stockouts.
- Using data and analytics to forecast demand for products or services, helping in better procurement planning.
- Engage with stakeholders on the progress of new business scenarios.
- Created numerous standard operating procedures to assist colleagues with various SAP functions.
- Generate and optimize weekly progress reports.
- Collaborate with business wide to optimize profit.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with various supply partners.
- Ensuring that supply chain operations comply with relevant laws and regulations.
- Continuously seeking opportunities to streamline and improve supply chain processes.
- Collaborating with various departments, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure a smooth flow of goods and information.
- Utilizing data analytics and reporting tools to make informed decisions and drive improvements.
