Our major client is seeking a Supply Chain Associate to work within their facilities located in Midland, TX for a 12-month assignment.
The Supply Chain Associate will help coordinate the purchase, supply, and warehousing of equipment and materials the Midland Division needs.
This may include, but is not limited to the following areas of responsibility:
- Source, purchase, coordinate, and expedite the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between vendors, departments, field offices and divisions.
- Requisition and coordinate delivery or transfer of material/equipment according to scheduled priorities and material availability.
- Analysis of material required to complete projects applying knowledge of product and manufacturing processes.
- Coordinate the divestment, inspection, repair, returns, warranty/replacement of materials, parts and assemblies.
- Compile and maintain manual or computerized records, such as material transfers, available inventory, status and location of materials.
- This position will involve light travel to field locations and vendor facilities.
- High School diploma or GED is required, Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred.
- 3 years of experience within the Oil and Gas industry’s supply chain management discipline preferred, with knowledge of production equipment and facility equipment, including but not limited to separators, dehys, pipe/valves/fittings, and tanks.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills are necessary.
- Strong ability to multi-task and reprioritize based on a dynamic working environment is critical.
- This role will require a solid understanding of the Division’s operational areas; and include the need for ongoing communications with all areas of operations to ensure that the daily material and equipment needs are met on a timely basis.
