We are looking for a talented Technical Artist to join the team and help make this vision a reality by creating digital assets, environments, and technical rigging.

The Technical Artist is expected to have a high familiarity with using Unity3D within a production environment. A deep understanding of production tools and the ability to integrate art into Unity3D is essential.

What You Can Expect To Work On:

  • Setting up bipedal and quadrupedal characters and facial rigs
  • Integrating bipedal and quadrupedal characters and facial rigs into Unity
  • Integrating body and face animation clips into Unity
  • Optimizing and integrating hard surface models for Unity
  • Assist with light baking in Unity scenes
  • Working with designers to establish the artistic and creative vision for scenarios
  • Collaborating with engineers and animators to provide technical and gameplay requirements

What We Expect From You:

  • 3+ years of experience, with at least 1 year of experience using Unity professionally
  • Broad and deep experience in a production environment
  • Scripting skills Mel/Python are necessary, C# would be very useful but not essential
  • An understanding of the 3D modeling workflow for efficient and game ready environment props
  • Knowledge of technical considerations in creating characters and environments for virtual reality
  • Significant experience using texturing skills and an understanding of the PBR workflow
  • Knowledge of Unity’s URP/ HDRP Render Pipeline is helpful
  • Knowledge of Unity Shader Graph is helpful
  • Strong self-management skills are critical and artists must be able to work within a fast-paced distributed team environment
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to understand, consider, and give constructive feedback
  • Bachelor’s Degree in 3D Visual Arts, Game Design, or related field

Remuneration & Benefits:

  • $65,000-95,000 Base Salary
