Responsibilities:
- Independently work together with the Contractor Engineering team on the detail design development including procurement.
- Functional report to the Project Manager for work progress reporting
- Provide supervision and guidance to the lessor experienced contractor engineering team, Package Engineer.
- Schedule management, ensure EPF contractor meets monthly engineering objectives or milestones
- Review vendor data and ensure is incorporated into the design/layout.
- Daily communication with discipline engineer to ensure the deliverables is complete according to schedule.
- Provide ways to improve the processes, productivity and efficiently.
- Follow the management of change (MOC) process to control unnecessary changes
- Assist the EPF Engineering Manager in detailed engineering for the Topsides and Barge as needed
- Field the technical queries related to the major equipment which the EPF Contractor have procured
- Participate in HAZOP, HAZID and design reviews as required.
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering discipline
- + 15 years of experience working on major oil and gas capital projects (> $USD 200 million) at an EPC office and fabrication yard. +20 years overall experience
- A broad experience with oil and gas exploration and production projects with a exceptional understanding of building upstream facilities.
- Experience working in SE Asia and working around multi-cultural project teams
