Airswift is looking to hire multiple Control Systems Engineers to join our client and support the most relevant projects in Oil & Gas, petrochemicals, new energies, and others!
Position for a Control System engineer. Main job responsibility is to specify requirements for Control-, Safeguarding- and Fire&Gas systems, evaluate and select control system vendors and provide guidance and attend FAT/SAT. Job includes collecting of information required for Systems vendors to execute their engineering and review their deliverables.
Preferred Experience (software, language, specific knowledge or expertise)
- Strong knowledge on related systems, e.g. CCTV, F&G, etc.
- Experience with at least one off, preferable more Systems vendors: Honeywell, Schneider, Yokogawa. Technology knowledge to be state of the art.
- Knowledge of Cyber Security standards / risk assessment strategies.
- Experience in Engineering, FAT, installation, SAT, commissioning of control systems.
- Experience in cooperation and work delegation with remote offices (work sharing concept).
- Demonstrate a pro-active and pragmatic mentality.
- Experience in work cooperation with remote offices (work sharing concept).
- Real team player (within ICS team and cooperation with other departments).
- Takes ownership of the scope, budget and schedule.
Non-negotiables (Minimum criteria that are required for hire, used to shortlist applications)
- Education: Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Engineering.
- Experience in the area of Control- and Safeguarding systems for 10+ years.
- Experience in development of control strategies in FEED and Detailed Design project phases.
- Compliance with IEC61508/11.
- Writing control system URS/SRS, requisitions, TBA’s and PO placement.
- Good pro-active communication skills.
- Clear communication in the English language, both verbal and in writing.
