Job purpose:
The Turn Around Senior Planner Advisor is responsible to advice, coordinate and support the Existing National Turn Around Senior Planner to Manages and oversees scheduling function for Turn Around/Shutdown. Responsible for TAR planning and scheduling, monitoring, progress measurement, risk management and reporting. Manages planning team members reporting to the Turn Around Senior Planner/ Superintendent. Participates in establishing operating policies to mitigate risk. Provides guidance and consultation for TAR team members.
Role and Responsibilities
Advice, Coordinate, and lead Pre-shutdown input & action Planning
· ·Advice, Coordinate, supervise and lead all Developing shutdown and turnaround plans · Advice, Coordinate, and lead TAR planning and scheduling, monitoring, progress measurement, risk management and reporting
· Advice, Coordinate, and lead to Manages planning team members reporting to the Turn Around Superintendent
· Advice, Coordinate, lead and Interact with the other department in the development of the TAR schedule and participate in regular meetings. Gather information, conduct analysis, and prepare reports and presentations of information to communicate potential issues and concerns as needed to complete TAR scope of work
· Advice, Coordinate, Identify, determine, and communicate design changes, scope changes, schedule slippages and potential impacts and participate in the identification of mitigations. Ensure trends of cost and schedule are identified, well documented and ensure the change management process is followed and communicate and suggest corrective actions
· Analyse critical path and constraints to determine effect of changes to schedule and recommend mitigations and potential workarounds
· Familiar with a variety of the LNG field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
· Mentor and lead other TAR planner/scheduling members, ensure TAR planning team
· Conduct analysis to determine alternative courses of action or recovery on slippages identified in schedule
· Advice, Coordinate, supervise and lead Post-shutdown input & Planning

Educational qualifications or equivalent experience :
· Diploma or Bachelor degree in core engineering discipline from an internationally recognized educational institution preferred but not required OR 10 years’ experience in scheduling, planning and cost control in the oil and gas industry
Minimum competence level :
· Language: English (fluent), Portuguese (preferred)
· Very good in IT. · Skilled in related scheduling software (Primavera, SAP, MS Project, etc.)
· Microsoft Office skill
· Knowledge of Six Sigma a plus.
Experience :
· More than 10 years of hands-on practical experience in Oil/Gas business.
· At least 5 years in Shutdown Planning & Scheduling as well Maintenance planning using well known MS Project & Primavera packages.
