Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Coordinator in the thriving energy sector! This is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in managing inventory and logistics operations, ensuring seamless shipping and receiving activities while working full-time in Carlsbad, New Mexico.
Role Overview
- Gather and maintain all data and records related to shipping & receiving activities.
- Collaborate with local SMEs & Procurement for MRO ‘New Item’ stock creations in SAP.
- Provide exceptional customer service to operations, maintenance, and engineering stakeholders.
- Collect and ensure timely entry of all documentation for inbound/outbound freight into SAP.
- Schedule inbound and outbound freight to meet site needs, including repairs and urgent shipments.
- Be available on-call for urgent repairable spare parts as needed.
- Adhere to all Material Management processes and procedures.
- Assist in annual inventory and prepare the warehouse as necessary.
- Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness.
- Escalate safety or operational issues to the Supervisor as directed.
- Support the security and safety of the warehouse and workplace.
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude with customers and stakeholders.
- Perform additional duties as directed.
Skills & Qualifications
- Warehouse Inventory Management: Proficient in managing inventory control processes.
- Warehouse Management: Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- SAP Experience: Familiarity with SAP for inventory management and documentation.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication for stakeholder engagement.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to maintain an organized and efficient warehouse environment.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Capable of addressing operational challenges effectively.
Education & Experience
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ prior experience in warehousing or inventory control.
- Proficient in cycle counting
- Certification: Fork Truck / Fork Lift certification required.
- Knowledge: General knowledge of basic math, reading, accounting, and computers.
