Overview:

We are seeking a number of Senior Civil Structural Engineers to support the Red2Green Hydrogen Project, based out of our office in The Hague. The successful individual(s) will be engaged on a contract basis for an initial 12 month period, with the likelihood of  a further work on the project.

Experience / Qualifications

• You have excellent skills in engineering with ability to work on complex multi-office projects;
• You have onshore brownfield petrochemical experience in both steel and concrete and are proficient with STAAD; Knowledge on Technosoft is also a preference.
• You like to keep track of the latest technologies and you get a kick out of developing and implementing these technologies and methods to improve the efficiency, accuracy and productivity of the department;
• You have a strong sense of responsibility and you are driven by quality management system is being followed (including any special contractual requirements);
• Health and safety is nr #1 for you and you take personal responsibility for safety and a healthy environment on the projects, of course you demonstrate this by example
• Can prepare and check concrete and steel calculations.
• Experience working with remote staff, such as in India.
• Pro-active attitude. Effective communication with project team members and all stakeholders.
• Flexible for travelling / site visits. In possession of a valid driving license.

What you will bring

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering qualification.
• 10 to 15 years of experience in civil / structural engineering working within medium- large scope projects within a multidiscipline environment
• A sound knowledge of Euro Codes and local annexes
• Competent use of civil / structural engineering specific software such as STAAD Pro
• Experience of Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Chemical, Refinery or other Industrial EPC / EPCm projects
• Good English communication skills, both written and verbal. Dutch is a bonus.

• L'identification des risques techniques liés au raccordement (grid codes, bridage, surcoûts…) ;
• Le développement et la mise en place d’outils de calculs internes en support aux tâches récurrentes de l’équipe de développement ;
• Superviser et piloter les études d’ingénierie détaillées réalisées par des partenaires ou bureaux d’études externes ;
• La participation aux discussions et à la négociation de jalons critiques avec les gestionnaires de réseaux locaux pour le raccordement de projets de centrales renouvelables au réseau ;
• L’évaluation technico-économique des solutions retenues ;
• Analyse des offres fournisseurs sur le périmètre électrique (MT/HT) ;
• La participation à la définition de la stratégie d'ingénierie et de construction ;
• La participation à la stratégie, la négociation et la rédaction du contrat avec l'EPC en charge de la construction ;
• L'apport d'une expertise technique durant la construction et l’exploitation des parcs, en support avec l’équipe Construction, Asset Management et les filiales de Total Eren.

• Bac+5, diplôme d'ingénieur en génie électrique ou électrotechnique ;
• Expérience d’au moins 5 ans dans le design, la construction, l’opération ou la maintenance des réseaux électriques ou parcs solaires/éoliens ;
• Autonome, rigoureux, orienté solution, ayant un bon relationnel et aimant travailler en équipe
• Anglais courant.

• Bonus :

• Expérience dans les systèmes isolés/insulaires ;
• Expérience dans le développement de projets à grande échelle ; o Expérience dans des projets à l’international ;
• Première expérience des problématiques électriques liées au développement de l’hydrogène « vert » ;
• Espagnol courant.

Our client, a major Engineering and Construction company, is looking for an Office Administrator to work on a 6-months contract.

Main Responsibilities:

• As a Office Administrator you will join our collaborative team in supporting exciting and challenging advanced facility mega projects in our global electronics department.
• You will provide a wide variety of administrative and support services to engineering and construction administration while interfacing with Project Managers, engineers, and designers.
• You’ll be accountable for scheduling and supporting meetings, taking notes and fulfilling a wide variety of administrative tasks.
• Most importantly, you will be preparing and submitting complex construction documents ensuring that all requirements are fulfilled with the highest degree of accuracy and timeliness.
• Your strong organizational skills and ability to communicate with staff at all levels – both orally and in writing will help us meet our client’s objectives.

Main requirements:

• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to understand software and processes quickly and thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment
• Solid organizational skills to manage large quantities of documents, emails, tasks, and workflows
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel
• Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint, OneNote, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Word; Adobe and Bluebeam products
• Knowledge of construction management platforms and construction management processes such as submittals and RFIs processing
