The Testing & Commissioning Support Engineer will assist the validation team in ensuring the functional and performance readiness of trains. This role requires on-site involvement during
the testing phase, with a focus on supporting functional tests (90%) and performance tests (10%) in compliance with operational and safety standards.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide hands-on support for the functional and performance testing of trains,
  • ensuring adherence to design specifications.
  • Assist in executing test protocols, analysing results, and troubleshooting issues during
  • the testing and commissioning phase.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including validation engineers and project
  • managers, to address technical challenges.
  • Analyse the TPR (Test Problem Reports), the CR (Change Requests) and communicate
  • to System Engineering or Control Engineering teams.
  • Document and report test results, non-conformities, and resolutions to stakeholders.
  • Support validation efforts by ensuring that trains meet operational, safety, and
  • regulatory requirements.
  • Work on-site for a limited duration in Salzgitter (Germany) and at FUSINA as required,
  • providing active support for testing activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) or
  • equivalent experience.
  • Experience in testing and commissioning processes, preferably in the rail or
  • transportation sector.
  • Familiarity with train systems and subsystems, including electrical, mechanical, and
  • software components.
  • Knowledge of rail industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Hands-on experience with testing tools and equipment.

Job Overview:
The Principal Subcontracts Specialist interprets internal or external business issues and recommends best practices. They will be tasked with solving complex subcontract-related problems and will work independently with minimal guidance. The Principal Subcontracts Specialist may lead functional teams or projects and is regarded as a subcontract specialist. Responsibilities

Our client is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to work within their facilities located in Houston, TX, for an initial one-year assignment.
The contingent Civil/Structural Engineer will join the client’s Engineering & Construction (E&C) department, based in Houston, TX, and report to the E&C Staff Structural Engineer. The selected applicant will primarily provide civil/structural engineering expertise to support Operations and Maintenance (O&M) brownfield capital projects at the Corpus Christi Liquefaction (CCL) facility.
The Civil/Structural Engineer will play a key role in supporting the client’s mission to operate safely and reliably. This involves understanding and evaluating structures within the facility, working closely with the CCL O&M Engineering Services team to provide civil/structural expertise and quality assurance reviews of engineering work packages (EWP) and contractor deliverables. This role will provide senior level support on brownfield projects of varying complexity with limited supervision.

Key areas of competency include:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of structural steel design and reinforced concrete design
  • Design of brownfield structural retrofits in a live plant environment
  • Familiarity with geotechnical data and design of deep and shallow foundations

No per diem is offered. It will be responsible for Process surveillance, troubleshooting, analysis and proposing modification, managing change, and providing engineering support for an LNG facility, while working independently, following peer review process and using good judgment for consulting supervisors and mentors.
 
This position is based at the LNG Facility, however, some travel to local off-site locations as required. This position requires the incumbent to hold a valid, unexpired driver license at all times in order to perform the essential functions of the job.

- Develop guidelines to Operating facilities with recommendations related to process systems design, operational practices and controls.
- Analysis and taking actions on key performance indicators (KPI) and highlighting for any exceedance.

Responsibilities:

  • In the conceptual phase, you will work with the Early-Stage Project Manager to support the engineering requirements and scope with the Development Group.

  • Manage all project long lead major material orders to minimize risk of delays or exceeding the project budget. Assists ISC with all switchyard project SOW creation, review, approval, and preparation of shopping carts for engineering services and materials in a timely manner.
  • Support E&C Estimating with template update via project feedback, technical support, and scope modifications.

We are on a mission to disrupt the global steel industry by producing green steel, with the end goal of bringing down CO2 emissions to zero. Our green steel production in Boden will be powered by one of the world’s largest green hydrogen plants, running on renewable electricity. Instead of emitting large amounts of CO2, as in traditional steelmaking processes, our primary emission will be water. By 2030, our ambition is to produce 5 million tonnes of green steel annually in our fully integrated, digitalized, and sustainable plant in Boden, located in northern Sweden - currently in construction phase.  The facility will impact, and shape, the surroundings as well as the perception of Boden, with the aim that it will be seen as a symbol for the much-needed green transition of heavy industry.

We are looking for a consultant to adhere to our Operational Excellence team. You will be responsible for implementing and promoting lean principles and methodologies within construction projects. This role involves enhancing project efficiency, minimizing waste, improving collaboration among stakeholders, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality construction projects. The expert collaborates with project teams and contractors to identify areas for improvement, develop strategies, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
Lean Implementation
  • Apply lean principles to construction planning, design, and execution processes.
  • Develop and implement value stream mapping, pull planning, and Last Planner® System.
  • Identify and eliminate waste in processes, materials, and workflows.

Process Improvement
  • Conduct assessments of current construction processes to identify inefficiencies.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to optimize resource utilization and reduce costs.
  • Establish performance metrics and continuously monitor progress.

Collaboration and Communication
  • Facilitate collaboration among project teams, contractors, and EPCMs to align goals and expectations.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate stakeholders on lean construction methodologies.
  • Serve as a liaison between teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Project Management Support
  • Assist in project scheduling, cost estimation, and risk management using lean tools.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and sustainability standards.
  • Support the development of integrated project delivery (IPD) systems.

Continuous Improvement
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback and innovation.

Qualifications, Skills and Competencies:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years in construction project management, with at least 2 years in lean construction practices.
  • Lean Six Sigma, Certified Lean Construction Professional (CLCP), or equivalent preferred.

The Role

Reporting to Lead Engineer and Project Manager, you will be working with a team to work on a major project for a client. The successful candidate will be responsible for the programming, configuration, testing and site commissioning of control systems for our projects, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

 

Responsibilities

From a technical perspective you will have experience in;

  • Design, develop, and commission control systems, including RTU, PLC and SCADA HMI systems.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize control system performance for continuous improvement.
  • Develop and modify control logic, programming, and system configurations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system requirements and specifications are met.
  • Participate in project planning, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Conduct testing and validation to ensure control systems meet safety and performance standards.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for control systems on-site and remotely.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of control system configurations, changes, and test results.

Requirements

  • Experience in water treatment, water moving and wastewater projects.
  • Proficiency in RTU, PLC and SCADA HMI.
  • Demonstrate competency of ensuring all Control System engineering project work complies with statutory and regulatory requirements and company policies and practices.
  • Familiarity with process control communications protocols including DNP3, Modbus, OPC, ProfiNet.
  • Experience in control system design and documentation.
  • Competency with PLC software development such as ladder logic and Function Block Diagram, SCL and LAD.
  • Competency with drive interface design including VSD, E/DOL and Soft Starter.
  • Familiarity with electrical LV design, drawings and related electrical documentation.
  • Familiarity with instrumentation, process control, and automation technologies.
  • Provide high level technical support for Control System engineers as required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
