This role carries out tasks within the income tax reporting function for assigned entities within the Calgary Tax Services Department. It includes tax compliance, tax accounting and research activities and provides back up and general administrative support to the Manager Tax Compliance and other members of the Corporate Income Tax Reporting Department as required.
 
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Required:
• University Degree in Business Administration or other related discipline

Specific Accountabilities

• Assists in the preparation and evaluation of ad-hoc requests within the Calgary Tax Services Department
• Assists with federal and provincial income tax audits as it relates to entities in the Calgary Tax Services Department. Compile and prepare documentation as requested by the auditors and prepare responses to audit queries.
• Contributes to the positive team environment of the Calgary Tax Services Department.

• Assists with indirect tax compliance function by preparing various GST and Customs forms.
 
Scope:

The missions :

Context
Agreements were signed by TotalEnergies in Iraq to enhance the development of the country’s natural resources. The GGIP project, located in the Basra region, is a 4-in-1 project:
? The Associated Gas Upstream Project - AGUP: Enhance Ratawi oil field production thanks to infrastructures upgrade and new export pipeline (Phase I), then a new CPF and additional development wells (Phase II). A 3D seismic will be acquired on Ratawi field prior to the Phase II.
? The Gas Midstream Project - GMP: Valorize the gas from Ratawi, Majoon and Al Qurna West-2 (Phase I) oil fields.
? The Common Seawater Supply Project - CSSP: Major water-injection project that will help the long-term production of several fields of South Iraq. TotalEnergies will only be involved into the seawater treatment plant building.
? The Solar Power Plant - SPP: major solar project (PV plant with a 1250 GW DC) which will allow to produce power (1000 GW AC) to be injected into the grid.

AGUP Phase 2 is the major full field development. It involves drilling around 221 wells, feeding a new built CPF, at TotalEnergies standards, with a capacity of 210 kbopd. Oil will flow respectively at 60 to 80 kbopd from Yamama (~100 MMscfd) and 150 to 130 kbopd from LP reservoirs (~30 MMscfd).
AGUP ph2 project will be developed with the objective to maximize economical results, with a particular focus on the CAPEX, while maintaining the technical quality of the installations, with high H3SE requirements and focus. The project development includes several interfaces with other projects (AGUP ph1, GMP and CSSP) which shall be managed in an optimized and agile manner.
The country context is complex due to several factors and risks to be mitigated all along the project. Particular attention will be paid to the safety culture enhancement and to the local content that will be a key factor for the project success.

The Project Manager position leads and supports the execution of capital projects. Job Description:
Day-to-day duties would be to serve as an engineer on a main condenser project, with particular emphasis on supports and riggings for equipment replacements and upgrades. Duties include, but are not limited to, preparation or review of design changes, preparation or review of procurement specifications, supporting field implementations, vendor document reviews as an owner’s representative, visits to vendor facilities when required (an expected occasional responsibility), and review of bids from vendors and installers from a technical perspective.

Our Operator client are recruiting for a Quality Engineer to join the team in Aberdeen.  The role will lead brownfield minor modifications portfoiio projects and turnaround teams providing QA and QC support and advise to the projects.
Working primarily in Aberdeen office with occasional business travel to vendor locations as required.

Key Responsibilities and background:
  • Develop and implement a Project Quality Management System.
  • Custodian of the Project Quality Plan throughout the Project Lifecycle.
  • Work closely with the EPC ensuring Quality is delivered effectively and as per the contract.
  • Ensure compliance with the Specifications, Standards and Codes applicable to the Project.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with procedures by way of Quality Management Audits, Reviews and Health checks across the scopes.
  • Develop, Implement and be Custodian of the Project Quality Audit & Review Schedule.
  • Facilitating and preparing Monthly Quality Steering Team Meetings
  •  Recording and reporting quality findings (NCRs / Observations) and creating reports and associated KPIs. Ensuring Quality issues are reported, highlighted and addressed to satisfactory closure.
  • Ensuring that Quality Risks are identified, along with providing and managing mitigating actions. Develop Quality bow-ties.
  • Oversee and deliver the Management of Repeated Failures process to achieve flawless Project delivery objectives, leading indicators, and agreed Quality KPIs.
  • Oversee and deliver Lessons Learned in conjunction with project engineers.
  • Lead RCA and Quality investigations.
  • Plan and coordinate inspections throughout procurement & construction.
  • Attend Kick-Off / Pre-Inspection Meetings where required;
  • Review of contractor / vendors quality plans and inspection and test plan to ensure adequate hold and witness points have been identified to ensure appropriate levels of control are being applied;
  • Ensure Verification is in accordance with the Project developed TIV Plan, and the Verification Scheme for Safety Environmental Critical Elements (SECE) and the Performance Standards (PS).
  • Oversee any 3rd Party IVB contract, working closely with the Greenfield, Brownfield, wells and subsea divisions
  • Assist in Assurance Event Planning & Management, Reporting and Action Tracking.
  • Maintain Quality Awareness across the Project team - ensure training programs are in place for all staff.

Critical Skills & Personal Attributes:
 
  • Experience in leading projects through the design, procurement construction and commissioning phases.
  • Experience of delivering through EPC companies.

What we’re looking for:

  • Field Application Engineer with 5+ years relevant industry experience
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • BSc or MSc in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • Experience in embedded C programming
  • Experience with RTOS and understanding of Linux development environments
  • Working knowledge of Python / Perl / Bash / Makefile scripting
  • Knowledge of wireless hardware
  • Understanding of RF characteristics
  • Good understanding of the IEEE 802.11 Wi-Fi protocol
  • Host processor and system-level knowledge
  • Experience with On-site testing and ability to tweak RF settings to optimize performance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and thorough methodical work style
  • Must be articulate with the English and Japanese language and capable of producing clear and detailed documentation
  • Must be comfortable with interacting with customers in person and via conference calls
  • A hands-on, practical attitude
  • Cooperating with R&D team for issue resolving
  • Working with sales team to achieve design-win and develop new accounts

Airswift is looking for an experienced Senior Project HSE Advisor to join our top-tier EPC client on a 6-month contract with a 2:1 FIFO arrangement (ex. Perth) in the Pilbara region for a significant iron ore project led by a Tier 1 operator. 
In this role, your duties will include but not limited to:
  • Offering guidance to site contractors and supervisors on Critical Risk Management.
  • Ensuring adherence to relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Conducting inspections, investigating incidents, and providing formal reports.
  • Performing Post Mobilisation/Periodic Contractor Assessments as per the Construction Health and Safety Management Plan and participating in the review of Construction Risk Assessment documentation.
  • Attending H&S Daily meeting with the EPCM HS Team, weekly progress meeting and attendance at Site fortnightly HS Committee Meetings.
