Houston, Texas — May 20, 2020: Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA), the global advisor on staffing and workforce solutions, has unveiled its annual 40 Under 40 list, recognizing an up-and-coming group of leaders making their mark on the workforce solutions ecosystem.
We are pleased to announce that Sam Cross, Senior VP, Americas, has been recognised in the 2020 40 Under 40 list.
Strategic. Innovative. Wanting to make a difference both for their communities and the world. Competitive, but not at the expense of their team. These are just a few of the admirable traits that describe the 2020 class of 40 Under 40.
One of Cross’s great personal drivers is to have an impact on the careers and lives of the people he works with. “Seeing people become better professionals is one thing, but seeing them becoming better people is the real reward,” he says.
Looking forward, Cross predicts digitalization and lower cost of service will be the future for staffing, and feels trusted strategic relationships will come back stronger after the recent market downturn. “It’s at hard times people value the relationships they have and delivery they can rely on versus commoditization.”
These are unprecedented times. The workforce has been impacted in ways not seen before. Yet as we brace ourselves to tackle what lies ahead for an industry that places people in jobs, one thing is crystal clear: We need leaders and innovators to navigate this crisis.
These 40 professionals exemplify passion, integrity, creativity and the perseverance that is needed to connect people to new opportunities amid Covid-19 and beyond. They have chosen varied career paths to get here; some started out right after college, while others came from other careers — sales, investment banking, law, nursing, software development — but what is striking is their commitment to putting people first.
