    Background

    One of the world’s top producers of olefins and polyolefins and a leading supplier of aromatics, alpha olefins, styrenics, specialty chemicals, plastic piping and polymer resins was seeking a recruitment partner to fill two Sales Manager vacancies for a brand new business unit in the BENELUX and DACH regions.

    Challenge

    The client had been trying to fill two vacancies over the last 4 months with no success. Candidates they had identified had limited technical skills and were not of the calibre they were seeking. They needed a recruitment partner who was well networked within the speciality chemicals market who had a strong track record placing similar roles across Europe.

    Results

    Initial longlist was provided in 5 days and final shortlist was provided in 10 working days. Interviews arranged a week later and the offer closed out a week later. Within 20 days the prefered candidate had been secured and started one month later. As a result of this success, Airswift was awarded another search that was proving challenging for the client.
