Internal Employee Survey

Case Study

Background

Our client is the largest insurance company in the South Pacific, with offices in Papua New Guinea (HQ), Vanuatu, Fiji, Tonga and the Solomon Islands. It was first licensed in PNG in 1993, followed by their General Insurance Company in 2009. Our client has over 100 employees and well over 100,000 customers throughout the Pacific.

Challenge

Our client's board approved funding for several business improvements across the group, however before initiating the projects, the Group Chief Executive Officer wanted a clear understanding of what the employees’ views were and insights on the business, including their roles and where in the value chain they felt they were positioned.

Airswift Solution

Airswift created a questionnaire designed to capture key information from employees across the group via an online survey platform. As some of the questions were deliberately designed to challenge thoughts around the company, colleagues and benefits. We communicated the survey was completely confidential, to ensure the questions were answered honestly. We sent an email to each employee including a link to the on-line survey and provided simple instructions with a date the survey must be completed by.

Result

Through Airswift, our client was able to capture unique insights directly from their employees. Due to the design of the questionnaire and our independent management of the on-line survey, our client received invaluable and constructive feedback which in turn was used as a basis for which they could implement into their business improvement plans.
