Jack St Malo

Case Study

Background

Jack St. Malo is our client’s signature deepwater exploration project and is one of the largest semi- submersibles in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico. Located approximately 280 miles south of New Orleans, Louisiana, Jack St. Malo continues to play a major role in the Big Foot Tension Leg platform, supplying marine operations support at the Kiewit shipyard and into the offshore hook up and installation campaign.

Challenge

As the Front End Engineering Design (FEED) phase began in the summer of 2009, our client expressed concerns about procuring talent.

Airswift was tasked with providing technical staffing and mobilisation services to support the lifecycle of the project in the Gulf of Mexico and South Korea.

Airswift Solution

Airswift utilised its database and recruitment teams in both the United States and South Korea to provide a talented contractor workforce with technical expertise. Airswift provided comprehensive mobilisation services to contractors across the U.S. and South Korea who delivered safe, reliable and efficient support for each phase of the project.

Results

Airswift successfully mobilised over 50 personnel to support the project across the U.S. and South Korea, providing consistent customer service to our client.

“Airswift has an extensive network throughout the industry. They made hiring and on-boarding processes a pleasant experience. I would recommend Airswift for any task. I always know I will be taken care of with Airswift in my corner.”
