Nova Scotia Sable Offshore Energy Project

Case Study

Background

Our client was awarded the contract to complete the Plug and Abandonment of approximately 26 wells on the Nova Scotia Sable offshore field.

Challenge

Working under a contract with another major oil company, the client needed to recruit and hire 20 field operators. Each candidate would need to meet the training and HSE standards for offshore work in Nova Scotia, including offshore certifications and medical exams.

Airswift Solution

Airswift actively and successfully recruited for each of the required positions. Airswift worked within the guidelines of the Canadian-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Board (CNSOBP) and the Benefits Accord to ensure we have advertised and recruited solely from local Nova Scotian candidates.

Results

Airswift began the hiring process for the required roles, including Coiled Tubing Operators, Slickline and E-Line Operators, Offshore Clerks, Cementing Operators, Field Supervisors, Onshore Logistics Coordinators and Shop Coordinators.
