Background

In 2015, approximately $285 million was invested into a new, high-tech facility at one of the largest production sites for medicine in the world, designed to manufacture new biological medicines.

Challenge

In the early stages of the project, our client utilised numerous employment agencies to supply contractor personnel. However, very few of these suppliers had a robust understanding of Swedish labour laws or in-country tax compliance, which naturally presented additional issues, including high levels of contractor attrition and a shortage of qualified personnel to fill the project's niche, in-demand skill sets.

This allowed our client to easily track the cost of each hire against their respective budget, knowing their workforce was operating within Swedish law.
