Our client is an American multinational lead-acid battery manufacturing company, manufacturing automotive batteries and industrial batteries. They made a strategic decision to expand into the automotive market, and Airswift supports them to fill seven positions, for this new market, across Europe, including Lithium Battery Design Manager, Embedded Software Designer and onsite Applications Engineers.
With little experience in the automotive batteries market and lithium-ion batteries, our client needed new and innovative ways to target potential candidates. With a strong presence in Europe and a global candidate database in excess of one million, Airswift was engaged on an exclusive basis to source and mobilise all positions.
Airswift worked closely with the Vice President of Research and Development and the Director of Lithium-ion Technology to gain an in-depth understanding of the individual roles and their specific requirements. Through our Engaged Search delivery, Airswift approached the project by systematically mapping professionals from similar companies as well as conducting a full salary survey.
Airswift developed an online tool that provided 24-hour access to the mapped talent pool of over 600 professionals. In addition, Airswift successfully identified and recruited all seven roles in Germany, France and the UK, within three months.
