Our client operates an open-pit, copper, gold and silver mine located in the Star Mountains of Western Province, Papua New Guinea (PNG).

Challenge

• Appoint the crucial role of Country Head of Health and Safety for PNG on the back of a major leadership change and oranisational culture realignment
• Candidate must have executive Health and Safety background, extensive international mining exposure and a minimum of 15 years of practice working in a challenging environment and various cultures
• Additional experience leading large teams and supporting organisations through major change
• Search should be conducted within local PNG market in addition to international candidates
