Challenge

Following a merger with another company in 2014, our client decided to outsource their corporate global mobility services (GMS) for the movement of staff around the world to support specific projects and meet constantly changing global resource needs.

In order to achieve this, a competitive tender process was undertaken to identify several ‘best-in–class’ GMS providers, from which the company would select a single preferred bidder to act as a strategic partner.

Airswift Solution

Airswift took part in the competitive tender process against several established international relocation service providers and was ultimately selected as the preferred bidder following a thorough evaluation process, which involved a client presentation and several capability test exercises. Airswift demonstrated their ability to meet all the client's strict corporate IT security, HSE and due diligence requirements.

Airswift was perfectly positioned to provide all of the required global mobility services to the highest standards for quality and safety in all of the company's desired project locations. Airswift had the best personnel, global infrastructure, relevant local knowledge, access to advanced systems, and the financial stability to act as a strategic partner that the client was seeking.

The company relocates over 1,000 employees annually to projects all over the world on a rotational and residential basis.

Results

Airswift was awarded the sole-source contract for GMS in mid-2016. Since then, Airswift has successfully managed the relocation of our client's personnel to the following locations:

  • Middle East: United Arab Emirates, Iran
  • Europe: Sweden
  • Asia Pacific: Singapore, Brunei
