Airswift has been delivering fully integrated recruitment and supply chain managed services to fabrication yard projects around the world since 2001. Our global infrastructure give us unique project insights and enables us to support the full lifecycle of projects from design to fabrication to onshore and offshore production. We have established three 24-hour strategic Delivery Centres based in three different time zones. The delivery centre provide round the clock talent acquisition for major projects.
In Asia Pacific, Airswift is the leading workforce solutions provider for multiple onshore and offshore fabrication yard and FPSO projects. We have managed over 50 Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) and major fabrication yard projects.
Airswift currently supports over 550 technical contractors across 11 locations and maintains an average 96% contractor satisfaction rate.
As the oil price stabilises, 2019 looks to be an exciting year for energy projects.
This page will give you an overview of Airswift’s sector experience, current fabrication yard projects and location information.
Airswift is a leader in the upstream sector, specifically fabrication yard and offshore oil and gas. We have extensive experience supporting major shipyard projects in Asia Pacific within the key locations of Singapore, China, South Korea, Thailand and Batam, Indonesia. Our services include:
Airswift opened a Singapore office in 2001 to support the shipyards at onshore and offshore fabrication and construction projects. Since then, we have grown to become the premier end-to-end workforce solutions provider for fabrication yard projects. Our team is comprised of local and international employees specialising in recruitment and mobilisation while maintaining compliance. Airswift is a registered employment agency and licence holder with the Ministry of Manpower.
For over 10 years, Airswift has maintained operations in China to support various areas in the energy sector, including fabrication yard projects in Shanghai and Qingdao. Our teams specialise in identifying local and expatriate personnel, contractor care management, visa and immigration services, local payroll and taxation, mobilisation and logistics.
Since 2002, Airswift has provided manpower and mobilisation services for some of the largest fabrication yard projects in South Korea. After a decade of supporting these projects, Airswift cemented a presence in South Korea by opening offices in Geoje and Ulsan. In 2014, Airswift acquired KITCO to form Airswift KITCO, which allowed us to further enhance our end-to-end service offering.
Since its inception in 2018, Airswift has supported clients through our office in Batam, Indonesia, providing engineering, QHSE, construction, project controls and commissioning personnel to major fabrication projects, including the Tyra and Bul Hanine projects. Our local teams deliver talent acquisition, global mobility and relocation support and services.
In 2003, Airswift established an office in Bangkok and entered the Thai market to support the country’s largest oil and gas projects both onshore and offshore. Airswift has since grown to become the premier workforce partner for personnel across the energy sector and over the last 15 years has developed and maintained an extensive database of Thai candidates who posses the skill sets our clients require to execute their projects. Airswift can support immigration, visa processing, payroll outsourcing and in-country logistics in Thailand.
The Ichthys project is one of the largest LNG projects, taking gas from the Ichthys Field in the Browse Basin offshore of Western Australia. Airswift has supported various clients throughout the project in Australia, Indonesia, Singapore and South Korea. Airswift assembled a dedicated delivery team, comprised of a global account manager and discipline-specific recruitment consultants, who successfully completed all manpower and project requirements within target, which involved the construction, commissioning and start-up of the FPSO and CPF across two yards in South Korea. Our Service teams provided full global mobility services, including logistics, immigration, visa and work permit support, local payroll and destination services.
Floating production storage and offloading vessels are a crucial element of modern offshore oil and gas projects. As offshore discoveries and consumer energy demand increase over the next few decades, so will the number of FPSO projects and below are some key projects currently underway.

Liquefied natural gas (LNG) is a fast-growing major fuel source and demand is expected to double by 2035. Much of this growth will come from Asia as they transition away from coal. Airswift have been supporting some of the world’s largest LNG projects for over 20 years.
There are several FPU’s designed to support offshore deepwater projects. These include facilities like semisubmersible floating production systems (FPS), subsea architectures and Tension Leg Platforms. A number of these facilities are fabricated across the yards in Asia.
Mega projects like the ones listed below are designed and fabricated in multi-site locations due to their size. All of these projects have fabrication scopes in more than two countries.
