JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Managing the Logistics Operations department
Create medium/long-term strategies, solutions and partnerships for the development of logistics bases and logistics in the region;
Functional Management: Perform functional management of logistics teams including project logistics managers and coordinators, logistics base teams. Leading, motivating and redeploying our Logistics Operations team to achieve goals and objectives, as well as career management, development and performance evaluation.
Acting as a regional focal point for the bid teams with regard to operational logistics in Brazil;
Preparing, together with the Operations Manager, readiness reviews of logistics bases prior to the start of operational activities.
Plan and manage activities at shipyards, logistics bases and quays to deliver the assigned scope such as equipment preparation, mobilization, demobilization, spooling, etc.; Ensure that operations are planned and executed efficiently and safely;
Manage material control team by implementing a standardized traceability tool that allows data sharing and KPI implementation for the material tracking function in the region.
Manage operational logistics for the region, as well as implementing/updating operational procedures and guidelines.
Ensuring that the costs and planning of internal and third-party services relating to the department are tracked, managing its cost base;
Develop procedures and processes for managing logistics bases, materials control and operational logistics.
Develop indicators and analyze data to make result-oriented decisions;
Create an incident-free workplace culture, promoting safety and privacy as the first values for the manufacturing team and subcontractors;
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Proficiency in English;
University degree preferably in Engineering, Administration, Logistics or related areas;
Solid experience in the oil and gas industry desirable;
Relevant experience in Project Management, Operations and Logistics;
Good team management experience
