Senior Project Control Engineer
 
On behalf of our client, a leading developer of Green Energy projects, we are currently recruiting for a Senior Project Controls Engineer to support the development of a Major Green Hydrogen project

Key responsibilities:

 
  • Develops and maintains project schedule.
  • Maintains project budget and forecast cost.
  • Reviews and analyzes contractor schedules and cost reports.
  • Reviews and analyzes contractor progress and resources.
  • Monitors contractor manhours and productivity.
  • Monitors project and contractor quantities.
  • Prepares, integrates and summarizes cost and schedule reporting from contractors.
  • Identifies and quantifies Project Changes (PCNs).
  • Review contractor Change Orders.
  • Prepares project forecast.
  • Reviews contractor monthly invoice certifications.
  • Prepares, provides input to project weekly and monthly reports.
  • Performs other tasks as required.

Qualifications and skills required:
 
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, construction management, or equivalent degree.
  • 12+ years of cost / planning experience in the execution of EPC projects
  • 8+ years of cost / planning experience in the construction phase of large EPC project facilities
  • Exceptional time management, multitasking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to closely collaborate with other project teams, contractors and stakeholders.
  • Ability to prepare project summary and executive reports.
  • Extensive knowledge of best industry practices and standards.
  • Advanced computer skills and demonstrable competency of Primavera P6
  • Ability to travel as required.
