Airswift is looking for an Construction Engineer to work on an outsourced contract until December/24 in Guyana , with a major O&G operator.
The Construction Engineer is responsible for the Project Constructability processes and all Construction deliverables during the WIN and Execution Phase. You will assist the PMT in producing project specific documentation and transfer to Site for the Construction and Completion phase. You will adhere and participate to the implementation of the Project HSSE and Quality Plans. Whilst on site you are expected along with the Construction Manager to lead the roll-out of the monthly Life Saving Rules Campaign.
Responsibilities of the position:
Ensure that HSSE best practices are implemented in the project during construction
Adhering to the HSSE plan and reinforcing its implementation
The measure of your effectiveness in this regard will be:
Participation in the daily toolbox talk while on site
Meeting group and project HSSE targets
To meet the quality requirements of the Group/Project, you must:
Adhere to the Quality Plan, review and approve yard ITPs and assist the supply chain for
main packages
Apply the Group's Golden Rules of Quality
Interface with the site's Quality Verification Manager
Provide feedback on project quality issues to relevant stakeholders for implementation in
future projects
The construction engineer role will be based onshore, with rotation at 9/3 weeks, with access to offshore depending on project requirement.
