MAIN FUNCTIONS
- Assists in delivering items to customers by verifying orders.
- inventorying stock and arranging transportation.
- Anticipates delivery requirements. Places and expedites orders.
- Verifies items shipped by matching bills of lading and reconciles quantities while noting any discrepancies.
- Keeps customers informed by forwarding notice of item availability, shipment date and method, and current status as well as answers questions.
- Position will receive support and direction.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior shipping/receiving experience.
- Warehouse or manufacturing experience.
- Attention to detail.
