JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Coordinate permitting processes for all projects in Brazil.
- Assure the compliance to environmental conditions stablished in environmental permits and licenses
- Establish a good communication channel with projects BAs (EPI, PDP, REN, MMP).
- Manage contractors as environmental consultancies linked to permitting and consenting
- Liaise directly with environmental authorities as IBAMA, INEA and CETESB according to GL 0553.
- Ensure a good relationship with environmental authorities.
- Develop permitting plan and strategy for new projects
- Excellent knowledge of Brazilian environmental legislation and international best practices

- Bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences (environmental engineering, geology, oceanography, biology)
- Master Degree is desirable
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience with external stakeholders management
- Solid experience with permitting process and environmental issues
- Fluent English and Portuguese
- Good knowledge of Equinor portfolio
