Job Title: Project Director - EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Management)

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Director to join our client's team within the EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Management) branch. The Project Director will play a pivotal role in leading and managing key projects, driving strategic objectives forward in the energy industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of energy innovation and contribute to shaping a sustainable future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Lead and oversee large-scale EPCM projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and community representatives.
  • Team Management: Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and ensure successful outcomes.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and safety standards throughout all stages of the project lifecycle.
  • Budget and Resource Allocation: Monitor project budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and optimize costs to achieve project goals while maintaining financial sustainability.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes, methodologies, and performance metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex EPCM projects in the energy or related industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Sound understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in risk management, financial analysis, and decision-making.
  • Prior experience in the oil and gas sector is highly desirable.
  • Candidates must reside in Germany or be willing to relocate.
