Our global client is looking for Marketing Communications Advisor to be located in Melbourne to work on their facility for 12 months contract with potential for extensions. 

The Retail Communications Advisor is accountable for leading the development & execution of the retail comms stream of our B2B card communication plan. Supporting the Retail & Dealer businesses to ensure the Plus (AU) and (NZ) so accountable for the exploration of facilitating site specific retail offers to drive our share of wallet.

The Retail Communications Advisor is accountable for the management of the Marketing Support inbox, scheduling the retail comms in the Marketing Calendar and contributing to the planning and review of activity each week.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage digital communications, primarily via email (eDM) & SMS, delivering effective messaging relating to site changes (New Site openings, upgrades and temp & perm closures) as well as site specific customer offers for Plus (AU) and Fuelcard (NZ) customers.
  • Maintain and grow and move the Plus and Fuelcard volumes through portfolios through timely comms and compelling retail offers.
  • Work together with wider GBS Sales and Marketing, Fleet and Dealer and Retail teams to seek out cross sell and growth opportunities.
  • Ensure branding alignment – adherence to Global/Local brand and connectivity.
  • Support the Sales and Marketing team leaders with delivery of high-quality core performance activity and escalating any key risks identified within communications.
  • Ensure a positive customer experience is a key focus and applied in all manner of activity.
  • Deliver safe and reliable performance, ensuring compliance with policies (Pricing, Credit, Contracts and Safety). Apply business rigor that ensures monitoring of all accounts and prospects through the lenses of safety financial and reputational risks

Qualifications & Education background:

  • Tertiary Qualified (Marketing or business related) or completing tertiary qualification.
  • Core Competencies and Experience (Technical and Professional)
  • 1 year previous experience preferably in a Marketing/Communications.
  • Strong understanding of small to medium business and retail environments
  • A digital innovator and lateral thinke
  • Strong stakeholder management capability
  • Driven and engaging from the first conversation, with the ability to break down barriers quickly
  • Working as a part of a team to deliver overall business outcomes
