Our client is seeking a Rotating Equipment Analyst to work in Port Arthur, TX, for an initial 12 month assignment.

Responsibilities:
  • Manages equipment inspection programs designed to ensure compliance and reliability of plant equipment
  • Reviews periodic inspections
  • Documents inspection results/deficiencies and manages deficiencies to resolution
  • Collaborates with maintenance and operations to create site strategy (assigned plant equipment reliability improvement)
  • Participates in the development and implementation of asset strategies (including FMEAs)
  • Optimizes and performs QA/QC of critical spare parts
  • Creates turnaround scope documents for plant equipment overhauls
  • Provides technical input for plant equipment upgrade projects, including rerates
  • Provides technical troubleshooting and repair support for plant equipment
  • Issues recommendations in Meridium to perform routine maintenance for a major overhaul or as indicated by vibration analysis and/or machine performance
  • Provides backfill support to area Rotating or Fixed Equipment Reliability professionals or Engineers
  • Works with the Vibration Analysts on the installation and maintenance of vibration and axial position systems to prevent catastrophic failure
  • Serve as a company representative to provide inspection services at contractor shops to ensure quality workmanship on the repair or overhaul of plant equipment, the testing and assembly of new equipment
  • Participates in turnaround work execution with QA/QC, hold point witnessing
  • Ensures proper documentation to result in a reliable return to service
  • Fosters a teamwork approach by collaborating and working closely with Operations, Technical and Maintenance personal along with corporate and factory experts
  • Develop, issue, and maintain inspection and maintenance procedures as requested
  • Provide training to Maintenance, Operators and Technical person
Requirements:

 
  • 5 years experience in vibration analysis
  • No piping engineering/design background
  • Experience with machinery
