QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS: Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering. Minimum Experience:
• 8 to 10 years’ experience in the petrochemical, refining, oil & gas exploration & production or similar industry in Instrumentation Engineering role.
Previous experience in the supervision of Maintenance Engineering activities within a project team and/or experience in the use of the Risk Based Maintenance (RBM) or equivalent would be beneficial.

 JOB PURPOSE & KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
The purpose of the Job is to guarantee that the Instrumentation part of all Maintenance & Inspection
Engineering (MIE) Contractor deliverables are aligned with FOPS Maintenance team requirements.
As such, the job holder is accountable:
• Responsible for the review of all Maintenance and Spare Parts deliverables related to
Instrumentation issued by the MIE Projects Contractors,
• Ensure the compliance of Instrumentation activities with Client’s specifications/standards,
• In charge of the training and monitoring of Instrumentation engineers,
• Guarantee the quality of the technical description for all Instrumentation spare parts,
commissioning/start up, capital and operational ensuring purchase requisition specification and
relevant certifications are correct.
• Provide assistance to the MIE contractor Work Package leaders with regards to Electrical activities
issues.
HSEQ responsibilities:
 to Ensure compliance with client’s Incident Free culture, Health and Safety and Environment policy, o Support and enforce the project HSEQ management system (charters, objectives, directives, plans, procedures and specifications etc.), o Promote HSEQ awareness of workforce at all levels through proactive attitude - site tour management at CTR yard, HSEQ meetings ensuring risks are identified, actions assigned and managed within Project team and Contractors, to Monitor work activities, especially areas where unsafe acts could occur and ensure that risks have been properly identified and assessed prior to work execution (Job Safety Analysis), to Ensure that potential failures, weaknesses and hazards are immediately reported.

MIEC General Responsibilities:
to Responsible for the review of all Maintenance and Spare Parts deliverables related to Instrumentation issued by the MIE Projects Contractors.
To In charge of the training and monitoring of Instrumentation engineers. o Attend weekly and monthly meetings with MIE Contractors.
to Identify areas of concern, challenge, and identify / implement improvement measures. o Ensure all outstanding Instrumentation related actions were managed and closed out within time.
to Provide assistance to the MIE Contractor Instrumentation leaders to ensure compliance with project specifications.
To Participate to Maintenance and Spare Parts MIEC workshops with Company Stakeholders to ensure alignment.
 MIEC Technical Responsibilities:
To Review documentation both EPCIC and projects and provide feedback in a timely manner.
To Coordinate and validate the quality and compliance of Instrumentation documents required for the completion of Maintenance deliverables in the EDMS.
To Participate to 3D model reviews, ensure that maintainability aspects, maintenance access and handling requirements are properly addressed during Detailed Engineering.
To Contribute to the development of new or updating of Instrumentation standards.
To Participation in criticality reviews, RBM studies or equivalent to ensure Instrumentation related Maintenance requirements are properly addressed.
To Review and validate the Instrumentation Maintenance Work Instructions.
To Guarantee the quality of the technical description for all Instrumentation spare parts, commissioning/start up, capital and operational ensuring purchase requisition specification and relevant certification are correct.
To Provide technical clarification for the procurement of Instrumentation spare parts as required.
To Participate to the review of the Maintenance dossiers prepared by the MIE Contractors.
