Our client seeks a Senior Project Planner to join our site team on a FIFO basis to Balranald in NSW. On offer is a 2 and 1 rotation from capital cities on the east coast. DIDO is also on offer
What you’ll do
The role responsibilities include:
  • Crucial support to the planning and overall Project Controls department.
  • Grow the existing team and knowledge base to support a robust Project Controls environment
  • Support and engage with overall Engineering and Delivery team to effectively transfer project information. 
  • Provide insight and support regarding schedule trends and forecasts to Management.
  • Supply timely and accurate forecasts to Management and Client.
  • Developing schedules for Engineering (FEED and Detailed Design).
  • Creating Resource Loaded Project SchedulesUpdating of schedule progress following Client governanceReasoning of resource requirements and forecasting. 
  • Reporting – Portfolio and Project, Earned Value Management, S-Curves, Resource Histograms.
  • Baseline maintenance and change management and manage the interface between the cost system and Primavera.
  • Stakeholder Engagement. 
What you’ll have
  • Experienced in multi-industries (Mining, Oil & Gas, Infrastructure, etc.)
  • Previous working experience in a formidable sustaining capital and major refurbishment environment.
  • Extensive experience and an advanced user in Primavera P6.
  • Experience in EcoSys will be highly regarded and sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Tertiary qualification relevant to Planning and Scheduling in complex programs.
  • Extensive years of Project Planning experience, with relevant years of experience in Engineering Schedule development/management in mining.
  • Sound knowledge of change management, baseline management, schedule development, Risk Evaluate, Earned Value Management.
  • Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
  • You will be an enthusiastic team player and prepared to follow project and schedule governance.
  • Dedication to Customer satisfaction.
