Position: Offshore Shift Supervisor
Location: Offshore Angola
We are seeking a highly skilled Offshore Shift Supervisor to oversee operations offshore Angola. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in jumper installation and Xmas tree operations. As the Offshore Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team and ensuring the safe and efficient execution of all offshore activities during your shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate offshore operations, including jumper installation and Xmas tree activities, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
- Lead a team of technicians and operators, providing guidance and support to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot any issues to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Communicate effectively with onshore management and colleagues to provide updates on operational status and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, equipment maintenance, and personnel activities.
- Train and mentor junior staff members to enhance their skills and capabilities in offshore operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in offshore operations, with specific expertise in jumper installation and Xmas tree operations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve operational excellence.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills in high-pressure situations.
- Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Valid offshore certifications and training (e.g., BOSIET, HUET, H2S, First Aid/CPR).
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
