Job Title: Shore Approach Lead
Location: UK (South of England) and The Hague, NL
Job Description & Role:
The Shore Approach Lead is responsible for ensuring the safe delivery of the shore approach solution for new pipeline installation in the Netherlands.
This involves managing all aspects of the shore approach FEED, detailed engineering, and execution phases to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and project specifications. The role involves coordinating with various disciplines, conducting coordination meetings, and controlling project progress (technical, schedule, and cost). Additionally, fostering innovation, promoting collaboration within the joint venture, and ensuring compliance with HSE policies are key aspects of the role.
Responsibilities:
- Enforce company HSE policy within shore approach activities.
- Manage shore approach scope within budget, schedule, and HSE policy.
- Ensure EPC contractor produces a fit-for-purpose design.
- Ensure design meets statutory and international requirements.
- Mobilize, organize, and manage required teams.
- Ensure timely handover to operations/installation team.
- Ensure compliance with project partner
- Participate in Method of Statements/Procedures development.
- Propose and facilitate technical reviews.
Requirements:
- Education: Engineering Degree in a relevant discipline.
- Required professional experience: Tunnel design and installation experience required, with 10 years' overall project management experience, including 5 years in offshore and marine projects.
- Management capacity & skills: Strong people and team management skills, effective communication and negotiation skills, and leadership abilities.
- Preferred requirement: Experience in site environment for fabrication and construction, and familiarity with planning and contractual matters.
- Flexibility for site presence during execution phase.
- Fluency in English required, Dutch proficiency advantageous
