Location: Luanda, Angola.

Language: Fluent in English.

Work Scheme: Rotational - 28 days on (Offshore) 28 days off.

Duration of Contract: 9 Months.

Airswift is looking for a Site Planning Engineer to work with one of our customers in Luanda, Angola.

Requirements:
  • Formal Education (Diplomas): Engineering graduate or equivalent work experience.
  • Professional experience (in years): 5 years’ experience in Oil and Gas Operations (construction and operation).
  • Previous experience in planning and knowledge of PRIMAVERA. Knowledge of offshore activities.
  • Excellent knowledge of scheduling tools (Primavera Project Management, Microsoft Project and other office computing tools).
  • Autonomous and able to operate in a highly transverse situation. Rigorous approach to problem solving.
  • Collaborative working relationships with onshore and inside offshore team.

Accountabilities
 
  • Objective of the position is to optimize FPSO short term (2 WLA) operational planning taking into account constraints (POB, clashes, logistics means, multi trades activities…) in order to identify/take advantage of all cost and time saving opportunities.
  • Daily coordination with all entities offshore / onshore.
  • Accountable for ensuring FPSO plannings (2WLA, rotations planning) are updated on a permanent basis with accurate information, and with clashes identified and resolved, in order to optimize resources utilization (material or human).

Responsibilities:
  • To promote safety culture within the project and within her/his activities. Lead by exemplarity to have the team members and colleagues adhering and contributing. To adopt & demonstrate an exemplary behaviour with regardsto HSEQ rules and requirements. To participate and to promote Safety and Quality culture program (FOCUS). To ensure safe workplaces.
  • To ensure that safe and ethic working practices are carried out within the activities that she/he is managing or interfacing with. To guarantee the compliance on his/her activities.
  • To ensure that state of the art, TEEPA referential and local rules/laws are complied with and captured in all contractual requirements.
  • To manage the interfaces during project execution to remain within the agreed schedule for the completion of the statement of requirement
  • To establish and manage her/his activities motivating her/his counterparts and to work diligently to meet the targets of the Projects.
  • To organize and/or attend technical interface meetings as necessary.
  • Ensure the planning database is always updated
  • In charge of 2 WLA planning meeting organization, and animation on site
  • Gather all schedules from all entities on board FPSO (project, construction, maintenance, production, inspection, HSE, marine) check information accuracy, their update and input them into the Integrated planning tool.
  • Cross check inputs and ensure accuracy of information with the 5WLA planning of Smart Room planner.
  • Attend the 5-week coordination meeting with DB17/GSR, DT/FCP, DB17/FO, DT/EPT and provide accurate information and support on the resolution of clashes.
  • Ensure the activities from 5WLA planning entering into the 2 WLA planning (frozen period) are meeting all the requirements (JRA and RLO done, Material available…)..
  • Identify clashes / optimizations which may occur and solve them with the Entities related by proposing corrective actions, if possible, for all identified clashes / optimizations.
  • Put in place and follow closely a rotation planning of all permanent team members onboard the FPSO (rotation planning).
  • Daily follow-up of the POB head count on board the FPSO and/or additional accommodation facilities (e.g. flotel), liaising with all relevant entities both offshore (construction, maintenance, marine, production ...) and onshore services support in Luanda.
  • Contribute to the update of planning during Campaigns to allow visibility of work and scheduled end date.
  • Attend to the daily site meetings
  • Adapt to changes in work practices and job activities.
  • Seek out learning opportunities and transfer new skills and knowledge to the job.
  • Check and validate with logistician list of incoming / outgoing personnel. Ensure the proper management of the crew-changes planning.
  • Maintain good relationships with other stakeholders. Work in coordination within DB17 and with DT Entities (Drilling, Logistics and EPT).
