Airswift is supporting our client in West Yorkshire, on a multi million pound transformation project of a COMAH site.


We are seeking a Structural and Civil Engineering Technical Authority, who will be responsible for ensuring plant sites, equipment and systems are suitably specified to meet all project requirements.


Key Responsibilities and background:

 

  • Responsible for the Structural and Civil Engineering Aspects of the Transcend project scope.  Ensuring that Engineering Technical Standards, safety management standards, maintainability, operability, and integrity are achieved through the delivery of the project scope.
  • Company responsible engineer for structural and civil engineering requirements for new build and brownfield plant and integration with site systems and equipment.
  • Ensure new technologies are leveraged where appropriate to improve project outcomes.
  • Partner with other business functions to support and implement standards effectively and whilst managing risk.
  • Ensure engineering work is controlled in accordance with engineering arrangements and that all Legal, Regulatory, Contractual, COMAH and Governance obligations are met.
  • Working across multiple contractor and supplier delivery scopes, ensuing relevant KPIs and best practice are met and implemented.


    Critical Skills & Personal Attributes:
 
  • Preferred bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant engineering discipline and ideally a Chartered Engineer.
  • Capital project delivery experience in contracting and operating companies
  • Package systems engineering
