Responsibilities:
- Reporting to a highly experienced and technically sound Plant Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for effective management of cost, manpower/machine efficiency and utilization, OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), optimized working capital and on-time delivery of plan. That includes collaborating with Supply Chain Manager to ensure on-time delivery & quality in a Lean manner using Policy Deployment for continuous improvement.
- Responsible for mobilizing resources effectively for smooth flow throughout the production line with Lean principles.
- Provide technical leadership & guidance to direct reports & work-shop personnel to ensure all work meets quality & air-worthiness directives requirements.
- Minimum an Engineering Degree with minimum over 8years of relevant Aerospace Component Manufacturing, Industrial or Operational Management experience.
- Strong understanding of Aerospace business will be highly sought after.
- Successful delivery track record managing multiple large scale production line will be advantageous.
- In-depth knowledge of Lean principles tools and improvement techniques coupled with a proven track record of implementing.

Start date: As soon as possible
Rotations: 35 days working, followed by 35 days on leave
Contract is until 30.06.2024 (for admin purposes) beyond which is can be extended depending on the scope of work, your performance, or if other projects are available.
Pay: Consolidated monthly salary paid only when working, not paid when on leave.
Hours: Working 12 hours per day, 7 days per week
Requirements:
- 5 years of offshore experience on Construction and Heavy lift vessel, with the position of lead (chief elect. or first electrician)
- Knowledge on Kongsberg system, k-chief and k-pos. Able to manage FMEA and DP trial
- Knowledge of Amos maintenance system
- Manage a team of at least 10 people

Airswift is seeking for Principal Offshore Electrical Engineer - Offshore - to work in Qatar with a major Oil & Gas Company.
Qualification:
- A recognized and relevant engineering degree.
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status.
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications in engineering; management, project management or supervisory qualifications or equivalent.
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in Brown Field Oil and Gas related offshore projects. 3D Review Software: Navisworks, SPR.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage electrical engineering services and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.
- Manage electrical engineering project requirements.
- Manage electrical engineering services such as:
- Participate in relevant meetings, prepare progress reports and comply with required checking procedures.
- Ensure the project scope is clear and that changes comply with project change management processes.
- Provide advice during procurement, construction and commissioning activities. For example, oversee requisitions, technical bid evaluations and purchase order preparation.
- Act as the electrical engineering Lead on specific projects.
- If responsible for a team:
- outline project requirements including actively promoting workshare, where appropriate, assign tasks and supervise progress; and ensure the required services, its customers and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, on time and within budget.
- Keep up to date with the latest developments and technical innovations in electrical engineering.
- If required, assist and support junior personnel within the electrical engineering team.
- Communicate effectively with the electrical engineering team and project stakeholders, including the Customer.
- Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance when required.
