Airswift has been tasked by one of our major Oil and Gas clients to seek a Welding Engineer to work in their facilities located in Paris, France on a 12 months contract with possibility of extension.  

To meet project demands, and the constant increase in workload of the current team, we are looking for a Materials and Welding Engineer (M/F) whose main mission will be to provide technical support to team members, both in the study phase and in the construction/supervision phase.

Responsibilities Include:
• Establish procedures applied to different Projects,
• evaluate the specifications and specifications of different clients,
• analyze the technical offers in order to be able to select the best subcontractors, monitor and technically support the subcontractors if necessary,
• review the manufacturing procedures of subcontractors (welding specifications, NDT procedure, etc.),
• resolve non-conformities, provide technical support to projects and construction sites (on-site missions to be planned),
• assist the teams on site during the qualification phases


Qualifications:
  • Welding engineer ESSA or/and IWE
  • English required
