Senior Electrical Engineer

Airswift has been tasked by one of our major O&G clients to seek a Senior Electrical Engineer, to work in their facilities located in Stavanger, Norway under 1 year contract renewable

Main tasks:

• Provide technical support for operation and maintenance of electrical installations
• Maintain technical integrity of electrical systems
• Verify and approve technical solutions
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the electrical systems
• Promote and implement safe, efficient and reliable operations
• Participate in relevant networks and technical environments and ensure the transfer of learning where this creates value for the company
• Develop and maintain inputs to business management system (BMS) within discipline
• Ensure that the standards and processes are adhered to
• Understand and deliver business improvements according to LEAN principles
• Some travel must be expected

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical power
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Vocational certificate in the electrical profession counts positively
• You must be able to communicate well in English and Norwegian
• Operating experience and maintenance of electrical power plants within one or more of the following subjects; Generator systems, frequency converters and starters for motors, panel systems, ignition source control, ATEX, electrical system analyses, strategies and routines, NORSOK and IEC standards
• Knowledge of the design and operation of HVAC systems
