Airswift is currently looking for a 3D Modeling Electrical Networks and Instrumentation for one of our largest projects in Lorient, France. This position has a Monday-Friday schedule. Job Description 

As a 3D Modeling Electrical Networks and Instrumentation, you are responsible for carrying out the 3D modeling of electrical networks and instrumentation as well as the production of associated documents, under the responsibility of the head of 3D modeling studies, in coordination with those responsible for electrical studies and instrumentation studies, and from input data: 

  • 3D modeling  of power and instrumentation power networks with associated support 
  • 3D modeling of electrical equipment and instrumentation equipment, cabinets, cabinets, junction boxes etc. 
  • 3D modeling of spaces necessary for access, maintenance, and dismantling 
  • Review and annotation of electrical   diagrams, instrumentation diagrams and cable lists, to report the evolution of 3D modeling studies 
  • Review and annotations of electrical equipment plans, and instrumentation equipment plans according to installation, access, maintenance, and connection needs 
  • Realization and/or verification of 2D  plans from the extractions of the 3D model: route plans, installation plans, location plans, detail, and support plans 
  • Realization of quantities and quantity quantities of equipment for electrical networks and instrumentation. 
  • Participation in internal design reviews and interfaces with other trades participating in studies (Piping, Risk Prevention, Mechanical Equipment, Structure, Civil Engineering, Instrumentation, Electricity, Operation)  
  • Verification of compliance with business rules, applicable standards, and consistency of all studies with input data 

 

Requirements 

  • Confirmed project profile in electrical network studies - instrumentation on industrial and petroleum installations 
  • Aveva, 3D3U, Navisworks and AutoCAD knowledge 
  • Mastery of business rules, applicable codes, and international standards for the design of electrical and instrumentation networks, in the onshore and offshore Oil field  
  • Mastery of the design and 3D modeling of electrical networks and instrumentation, with the associated support, and 2D drawing (route plans, installation plans, location plans, detail, and support plans). 
  • Fluency in English
