Airswift (Air Energi Caspian LLP) is currently looking for a Earth Science Engineer (Cased Hole Petrophysicist) for KZ passport holders for one of our large project in Atyrau, 5\2. Reports to G&G Ops Supervisor within the Reservoir Management Group. Responsible for acquisition of cased hole log data, reviewing processing and interpretation of cased hole logs and subsurface well data, involved in construction of hydrodynamic models for use in reservoir development and depletion planning. Assists with planning and coordination of surveillance activities, field measurements, well diagnostics and petrophysics.
Scope of work will include interpretation of cased hole logs, development of petrophysical workflows, gas front monitoring activities, fluid typing, integration of cased hole logs with open hole log data, developing inputs for dynamic models, assisting in well intervention jobs, maintaining of petrophysical databases. Working closely with the Drilling, and Reservoir Management groups to support efficient field development. Support well stimulation planning from petrophysical, geological point and reservoir characterization standpoint view.
Job Specification and requirements:
More than 4 years of experience with Degree in Earth Science (Geophysics, Petrophysics, Geology) or Engineering. GPA - not lower than 3.0 on 4.0 scale. Strong Techlog user skills are required. Experience with Studio database. Previous cased hole petrophysics experience. Familiar with most of the open hole and cased hole logging tools and their applications to carbonate reservoirs. Good understanding of carbonate reservoir and comprehension of geologic principles. Basic understanding of acid stimulation techniques. Previous work experience will be considered. Upper-intermediate level of technical English language is required.
