Job description:
Petroleum Engineer reports to the RMG Field Production Engineering Team Supervisor. Performs routine engineering duties to gain experience and familiarization with methods/ practices and to develop professional work knowledge and abilities.  The duties of this position include production, sour gas injection (SGI) and waste water disposal (WWD) wells performance monitoring and analysis, identification underperforming wells and production optimization opportunities, reservoir/well surveilance and well testing data analysis, interpretation and report out for internal/external stakeholders including relevant regulatory bodies. Populates and maintain RMG Production Engineering databases. Facilitates well reliability and optimization (WRO) sub-processes. Assists in the preparation of drilling, workover and stimulation procedures. Conducts comprehensive engineering studies. Participates in engineering studies and represents RMG at technical meetings, as required. Safety and Environmental - Exhibits a strong commitment to safety and environmental issues and promotes this attitude in everyday work setting. Follows process safety management guidelines as established by Company and industry. Supports the Company way in protecting people and the environment. Reinforces compliance with all industry and Company safety instructions. Supports the Management of Change (MOC), Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), and Hazardous operations (HAZOP) processes: reviews and approves proposed changes.
